Why is the human race’s sordid past just one long chain of crime & foolishness?

Why have we done nothing but devastate our planet?

Why does the majority still believe the life of a capybara, tuna or honeybee of less value than some ignorant, base & brutal pol?

There has never been an overriding purpose clearly evident to all.  Now there can be – the non-caedere Pontibus. The Pontibus is the largest structure ever conceived by the mind of Man.   Superior will & energy unite to conquer inertia, creating the longest, largest, and highest growing structure in history.

The initial bridge, modeled here, will cross the Atlantic and one day breach the troposphere. Its building material, calein, will be many orders of magnitude more valuable than its production cost. The tetrahedralized matrices of calein will surround the globe as the internet does today.

The great habitat edifice will be 30 km high, 300km wide and 2000miles long. It will not be cheap. The $5T price tag will require millions of workers for decades. With it, however, we can replace the ozone, stop global pollution, obtain limitless energy, water & other resources, while avoiding an ultimate extinction for ourselves & our “also rans”.  I  have already invested my entire life, reputation, and $9M on it. The technology exists today. Our only impediment is lack of will.

Democracy is a pied piper and will ultimately fail the human race. So, the project can not be run as or from a democratic state.  We cannot look to public funding or even a legal infrastructure.  Pontibus control will be free of political & legal interference, management a law unto itself.

Our pact will be mutually understood & unwritten. Monetary investment is optional, commitment is not. Clearly, just a select few, humans, will choose to take part in the venture. What kind of humans? True humans. Only the  most human, the nobles, will come in the beginning. Men & women of technology, industry & war who can imagine, risk, and use the best intelligence available. They alone will aspire to plant their lives in this piece of eternity. These are humans unafraid to be their own law, their own morality, their own defense, and their own leaders. These brave humans are acquainted with the meaning of mission, purpose and responsibility. They will carve out a piece of destiny that is of their own choosing, not vouchsafed by some estranged majority.

Pontibus citizens will not have their lives end just because death intervenes inconveniently. These New Society denizens will not blame some maniacal “God” for their perceived failures. They will not choose some homosexual pedophile to be their “other world” Savior. Humans carry their own weight, following a star, or die forthwith.

They feel that if they must return to Earth someday, it will be to a better world for their having been. These are the individuals who will renew the planet for pure evolving humanity. No socialists, subsidized misfits, or pols will live on the great bridges. Pols, lawyers, religionists, and other subhumans need not apply.

If you have progeny and want to avoid an eventual extinction scenario, here is the one benign chance. Plant your footsteps in the sky, walk among the clouds, ride the sunbeam, challenge the wind, marry the hurricane.

Life has absolutely no meaning. Our purposelessness is reflected in the fact that most people in the Western world are either grossly fat, obscenely rich or wish to be so. As the sense of futility rises in us, we reach for food, drink or obsessive work to alleviate the pain. People must somehow assuage the feelings of irrelevancy. Caedere wealth and vapid objectives suffocate our evolution. Our individual lifespans are shorter than is necessary for making meaningful change alone, and so we despair for significance. As we exist but because of the water molecule’s perversity, I believe Nature accidentally gave us intelligence as a further response to entropy’s inexorable degradation. Our function with such capacity can be construed as to be custodial, enhancing our own evolution in the process. However, most use their DNA storage capacity of 5.5 petabits, or 1 million gigabits per cubic millimeter of DNA to pursue meaningless fantasies and virtually never a custodial objective. Why do we perform such time-wasting operations? Our death wishes inundate our constitutive survival genetics and most of our energy is lost to terrestrial attachment. Our pre Homo erectus ancestors were less intelligent than we. Nevertheless, they have succeeded very well in their ecological habitats. The great apes, on the contrary, have foundered. The jury is still out for us, but it appears that the human race is nearing an extinction point on the curve. Intelligence has done very little more for us, (in the 35K years of our existence), than to make us technologically more efficient at engineering our inevitable extinction. Our time in the evolutionary sun has proven to be nothing compared to stupider also-rans. Why is intelligence killing us? For 500K years or more it has been a millstone about the great apes’ collective neck. It seems to be driving us into an ultimate oblivion. Why? I believe it is because we are overqualified, i.e. lacking in active will. Drive an engine past red-line or put no load on a high rev condition. Full capacity with no purpose will blow it up. A species, likewise, made for great things and used but for creating mundane dross, hiding in a muddy lagoon inside a keratin carapace, is at grave risk. Nature will damn it, as it has damned 99.9% of all the other species ever created. Man relinquishes to a cacophony of religious nonsense-peddlers the responsibility to regulate his conduct. He relinquishes responsibility for his health to the pharmaceutical brothel and its gaggle of medical quacks. He relinquishes the responsibility to pursue his natural dreams to a corrupt entertainment media. He relinquishes his life’s mission to a herd of venal pols. Why does He do this? Incredibly, He has not the courage or will to grasp a salubrious vision of his future and pursue it to fruition. Responsibility demands vision. The Pontibus bridges are that vision. Without them the human race will founder and in its wake will fall most of its also-rans. These great bridges are our last chance to use cerebral intelligence and human aspirations to protect and augment life’s possibilities. The Pontibus can expand the Earth’s radius, provide habitat for 100 billion humans, defeat resource exhaustion, and provide capacity to replace all extinct and nearly extinct species.
